My son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on 2nd February 2014.
He is 4 at the moment and his life has changed totally; as from now on he requires constant life support in a form of insulin injections to maintain his life.
It still has not sunk in how up to now he has been able to live normal life & from now on we need to stay on top of life threatening condition which, if untreated, could lead to malnutrition and death.
We love our son does not matter what & we will do all necessary to keep him alive. It seems weird how his body has given up this vital for life task & now we need to do manually what his body was doing so naturally and effortlessly up to this date.
